Rope Rescue Operations
NFPA 1670/1006
This 3-day course is designed to enable a rescuer to feel comfortable in rope rescue operations. Most of the magic in a rope rescue happens where the system is. You need trained and motivated individuals rigging and working your system to help get the technicians to the patient. This is a hands-on course that will follow the Job Performance Requirements set forth in NFPA 1006/1670 (2021 edition) Chapter 5 to Awareness and Operations level.
Students will be validated in their skills and confirm competency through scenario based testing and a written exam. Upon successful completion students will be issued a JPR task book.
